Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket round 1 match between F5 Esports and FarmVille in the ESL Challenger League North America Cup #3 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 2 at 9:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "F5 Esports" if F5 Esports win the match against FarmVille. This market will resolve to "FarmVille" if FarmVille win the match against F5 Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi's two markets both resolve to YES regardless of match outcome (logical contradiction), while Polymarket's six markets use standard resolution logic tied to specific match results and statistics. Kalshi's markets are fundamentally unresolvable due to internal logical failure.

Hero Tip:

Do not trade Kalshi markets in this group — both Kalshi markets contain a logical error where YES resolves for both possible outcomes (FarmVille win OR F5 Esports win). Polymarket markets are resolvable and should be treated as the reliable settlement source for this event.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Both Kalshi markets resolve to YES if either team wins the match, creating a logical contradiction where the market cannot resolve to NO under any realistic scenario. Market 1 states 'If FarmVille wins... then resolves to Yes' AND 'If F5 Esports wins... then resolves to Yes', making the outcome predetermined regardless of actual match result. This violates basic binary market logic.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket provides six separate markets with independent resolution criteria: match winner (binary), map handicap (FarmVille -1.5), games total (over/under 2.5 maps), and individual map statistics (odd/even kills and rounds for Maps 1, 2, 3). Each market resolves based on specific match data from HLTV.org with clear win/loss conditions and 50-50 fallback rules for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, forfeits, or incomplete matches.
