Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between EYEBALLERS and Young Ninjas in the Journey Group D, initially scheduled for March 26 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "EYEBALLERS" if EYEBALLERS win the match against Young Ninjas. This market will resolve to "Young Ninjas" if Young Ninjas win the match against EYEBALLERS. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket resolve fundamentally different events. Kalshi resolves on the match outcome (either team winning), while Polymarket resolves on granular in-game statistics (kills, rounds per map) and map-specific winners. These are logically incompatible settlement bases.

Hero Tip:

Do not cross-hedge Kalshi and Polymarket positions in this group. Kalshi bets depend on match completion and overall winner; Polymarket bets depend on specific map play and in-game metrics. A match cancellation, forfeit, or early clinch will resolve Kalshi differently than Polymarket. Example: if the series ends 2-0 before Map 3 is played, Kalshi resolves on the match winner, but Polymarket's Map 3 markets all resolve 50-50, creating no correlation.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Distinct stance: Kalshi resolves on binary match outcome only. Both Kalshi markets (Journey 2026 match and the BO3 series) resolve YES if either EYEBALLERS or Young Ninjas wins the match, with no granularity on maps, kills, or rounds. Key quote: 'If EYEBALLERS wins the Journey 2026: Young Ninjas vs. EYEBALLERS CS2 match originally scheduled for Mar 26, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes. If Young Ninjas wins the Journey 2026: Young Ninjas vs. EYEBALLERS CS2 match originally scheduled for Mar 26, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket resolves on map-level and in-game statistics (kills per map, rounds per map, map winners, series length, map handicap). Each market is independent and tied to specific map outcomes or aggregate statistics, not the overall series winner. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to Odd if the total combined kills by both teams in Map 1 is an odd number. This market will resolve to Even if the total combined kills by both teams in Map 1 is an even number.'
