If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the ex-MANA vs WBT Counter-Strike match displays real-time odds and price history as traders buy and sell shares tied to the match outcome. You can monitor how the market is pricing each possible result, track cumulative trading volume, and observe intraday price movements leading up to the event. The interface shows the current implied probability for each outcome, helping you gauge market consensus on which team traders expect to advance in this European Pro League Series 8 Closed Qualifier Play-In matchup.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders directly competing on outcome probability. Prediction markets typically incorporate real-time information and can shift rapidly as new data emerges, whereas sportsbooks may adjust more conservatively. For esports events, prediction market pricing sometimes leads sportsbook adjustments, especially when trader activity signals shifting confidence in team performance or match conditions.

On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on buy and sell pressure. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the aggregate belief of all active traders at any given moment. As more traders buy shares predicting one outcome, the price rises and the implied probability increases; conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information about team form, roster changes, or other factors that could influence the match result.

This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-three series under the official European Pro League Series 8 Closed Qualifier rules. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. Resolution timing depends on the actual match schedule and any potential delays, but the platform will confirm the result as soon as authoritative reporting is available.

Several factors could shift trader sentiment and move this market significantly. Roster announcements or player substitutions for either team would likely trigger repricing, as would recent tournament results or head-to-head records. Map pool updates or bans could alter perceived matchup dynamics. Injury reports or unexpected roster changes days before the event often cause sharp price movements. Additionally, live performance during the match itself—particularly if one team wins the first map decisively—can prompt rapid trading as traders update their expectations for the series outcome. Community sentiment and expert predictions shared on esports platforms may also influence trader positioning.
