Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The rounds handicap contract reflects the probability that BERG will win or lose by a specific margin, with prices updating continuously as new trades execute. Until that time, traders can adjust positions as new information about team form, roster changes, or map selection emerges. Early resolution is possible if the match is cancelled or postponed; the platform will communicate any changes to the resolution timeline.

Several catalysts could shift odds before the match plays out. Roster announcements, player injuries, or recent tournament performance by either team may prompt repricing. Map selection, if announced in advance, could significantly alter the handicap forecast since different maps favor different playstyles. Betting activity from professional esports analysts or known sharp traders often signals new information and can trigger rapid price movement. Pre-match interviews or coaching changes might also influence how traders assess the expected round margin.
