Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 4 match between ESC Gaming and Tricked in the CCT Europe Series #20 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 9 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "ESC Gaming" if ESC Gaming win the match against Tricked. This market will resolve to "Tricked" if Tricked win the match against ESC Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket resolve on fundamentally different events. Kalshi resolves on the overall CCT Europe Series #20 2026 tournament winner (binary: yes if either team wins the series), while Polymarket resolves on specific map outcomes and the BO3 match result. These are incompatible settlement bases.

Hero Tip:

Do not cross-hedge Kalshi and Polymarket positions in this group. Kalshi's market is a tournament-level binary that will resolve YES regardless of match outcome (as long as the match occurs). Polymarket's markets depend on actual map results. If you bet YES on Kalshi, you win if the match happens; if you bet on Polymarket map winners, you win only if your predicted team wins that specific map. These outcomes are independent.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi:

Outlier: Kalshi's market resolves YES if either ESC Gaming or Tricked wins the CCT Europe Series #20 2026 tournament (the series itself), not the specific BO3 match. The rule states 'If ESC Gaming wins the CCT Europe Series #20 2026... then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If Tricked wins the CCT Europe Series #20 2026... then the market resolves to Yes.' This is a tournament-outcome binary with no differentiation between teams.
  • Polymarket:

Aligned with match-specific resolution: Polymarket's 11 markets all resolve based on the actual BO3 match result between ESC Gaming and Tricked (scheduled April 9, 1:00 PM ET), including map winners, map statistics (rounds, kills), series winner, and map handicaps. The primary source is HLTV.org, and resolution depends on completed maps and match outcome, not tournament placement. For example, the series winner market resolves 'ESC Gaming' if ESC Gaming wins the match, or 'Tricked' if Tricked wins the match.
