This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Entropy and Misa Esports in the NODWIN Clutch Series Play-In Group D, initially scheduled for July 16 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Entropy" if Entropy win the match against Misa Esports. This market will resolve to "Misa Esports" if Misa Esports win the match against Entropy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets price outcomes based on trader conviction and capital allocation. For esports matches, prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper or earlier signals than sportsbooks, especially for niche events. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal where professional and crowd sentiment align or conflict.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probability estimates. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 1 representing the implied likelihood of that result. As traders deposit capital and place positions, the price adjusts continuously, allowing new participants to enter or exit at the current market rate. This mechanism ensures transparent, friction-reduced pricing throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 16, 2026, once the best-of-three match concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the required number of maps to claim the series. Resolution occurs after the event is officially confirmed, ensuring all trading activity has ceased and the result is final and documented.
Several factors can shift trader positioning before resolution. Roster changes, player injuries, or roster announcements from either squad may alter perceived strength. Recent tournament results, map pool updates, or coaching changes can influence confidence in either team's preparation. Betting odds from major sportsbooks and esports analyst commentary often catalyze repricing. Pre-match interviews, scrim results, or community sentiment shifts can also trigger volume spikes and price movement as traders reassess their positions.
