This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Entropy and Donstu Esports in the European Pro League Series 8 Closed Qualifier Group C, initially scheduled for June 26 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Entropy" if Entropy win the match against Donstu Esports. This market will resolve to "Donstu Esports" if Donstu Esports win the match against Entropy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probability than traditional sports betting sites, depending on which venue attracts sharper or more casual participants. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest or where outlier views persist.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the cumulative positions of all participants; as new information emerges or sentiment shifts, the price adjusts in real time. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices move and how wide the bid-ask spread may be. Higher volume typically narrows spreads and improves price efficiency.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect which team wins the best-of-three series in the European Pro League Series 8 Closed Qualifier Group C. Resolution occurs after the final game is played and the winner is officially confirmed by tournament organizers or reputable esports news outlets.
Team roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements can shift trader expectations significantly. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and performance trends in qualifying rounds often influence pricing. Pre-match commentary from professional analysts and community sentiment on social media may also drive trading activity. Odds typically tighten as match day approaches and more information becomes public, while early trading may reflect higher uncertainty and wider price ranges.
