This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 2 match between Brute and MOUZ NXT in the Urban Riga Open #6 Group B, initially scheduled for July 27 at 12:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Brute" if Brute win the match against MOUZ NXT. This market will resolve to "MOUZ NXT" if MOUZ NXT win the match against Brute. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on outcomes. This market may show different implied probabilities than major sportsbooks, particularly if one venue has sharper information or if casual bettors dominate one side. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest and where informed traders see value relative to public perception.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probability estimates. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices move instantly as new trades arrive, and the spread between buy and sell prices reflects the current liquidity depth. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and the final price just before resolution often represents the most informed consensus. The mechanism incentivizes early information discovery and continuous price discovery throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jul 27, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final score and winner of the Counter-Strike match under the specified format. Resolution occurs after official confirmation from the tournament organizers or widely recognized esports reporting outlets. Traders should monitor the event schedule and any official announcements to ensure they understand the exact timing and any potential delays or rescheduling.
Several factors could shift prices significantly before resolution. Roster changes, player substitutions, or unexpected lineup announcements may alter perceived team strength. Recent tournament results, map pool updates, or tactical innovations could influence trader expectations. Technical issues, delays, or format changes announced by organizers might also trigger repricing. Additionally, injury reports, team statements, or credible analyst commentary circulating on esports media could sway sentiment. Early match performance, if streamed or reported in real time, typically generates the most dramatic price movements as traders update their beliefs based on live gameplay.
