This market refers to the Counter-Strike Grand final match between BIG Academy and Esport BERG in the DACH CS Masters Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 27 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "BIG Academy" if BIG Academy win the match against Esport BERG. This market will resolve to "Esport BERG" if Esport BERG win the match against BIG Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from supply and demand among traders who profit by forecasting accurately. This market's odds reflect the collective judgment of participants wagering real capital on the outcome, often incorporating information faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. Comparing this market's probability to major sportsbook spreads can reveal where consensus diverges and highlight potential value.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker model. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the ratio of shares held in the liquidity pool; as more traders back one outcome, its price rises and the alternative falls. You can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and your trade size influences the final price you receive. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information about team performance and playoff dynamics.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official tournament bracket and match result. Until that point, traders can adjust positions as new information emerges—team roster updates, recent form, or playoff bracket changes. Resolution timing depends on when the DACH CS Masters playoff fixture is officially completed and reported.
Several factors could shift odds before the match concludes. Roster changes, player injuries, or lineup announcements for either squad would likely trigger significant price movement. Recent tournament results and head-to-head performance data influence trader confidence in each team's chances. Scrim results or public statements from coaches and players may also sway sentiment. Additionally, bracket developments in the broader DACH CS Masters playoffs could affect perceived difficulty and momentum, causing traders to reassess probabilities and adjust their positions accordingly.
