Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Betclic Apogee Esports and HEROIC Academy in the Journey Group C, initially scheduled for March 25 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Betclic Apogee Esports" if Betclic Apogee Esports win the match against HEROIC Academy. This market will resolve to "HEROIC Academy" if HEROIC Academy win the match against Betclic Apogee Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket defines a complete 13-market group with detailed resolution rules for match outcome, individual maps, rounds, and kills across all three maps, while Kalshi provides only a single binary market on overall match winner with no map-level detail. The two platforms are fundamentally misaligned in scope and granularity.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Polymarket, you are exposed to 13 separate markets with interdependent outcomes (e.g., Map 1 winner, Map 1 odd/even rounds, Map 1 odd/even kills, etc.). If you trade on Kalshi, you are trading only on the binary match outcome. A Polymarket trader betting on Map 3 odd/even kills faces a 50-50 resolution if Map 3 is not played, whereas Kalshi has no such market at all. Ensure your portfolio accounts for this structural difference: Polymarket offers granular esports betting, Kalshi offers only the headline result.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: Outlier: Polymarket operates a 13-market suite covering match winner, individual map winners (Maps 1, 2), map-level statistics (odd/even rounds for Maps 1, 2, 3; odd/even kills for Maps 1, 2, 3), series total maps (O/U 2.5), and map handicap. Each market has independent resolution rules tied to HLTV.org as primary source, with fallback to credible reporting if HLTV does not publish within 2 hours. For example, 'Map 1: Odd/Even Total Rounds' resolves based on the sum of rounds won by both teams in that map only, with 50-50 resolution if Map 1 is not played. The resolution source is 'official information from https://hltv.org.'
  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi provides a single binary market asking 'If Apogee Esports wins the Journey 2026: HEROIC Academy vs. Apogee Esports CS2 match originally scheduled for Mar 25, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes. If HEROIC Academy wins the Journey 2026: HEROIC Academy vs. Apogee Esports CS2 match originally scheduled for Mar 25, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.' This market resolves YES for either team winning (a logical tautology that always resolves YES if the match is played), with no map-level detail, no statistics markets, and no explicit resolution source or fallback procedure specified.
