This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between BESTIA Academy and Guara Esports in the CCT South America Series 4 Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 15 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "BESTIA Academy" if BESTIA Academy win the match against Guara Esports. This market will resolve to "Guara Esports" if Guara Esports win the match against BESTIA Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and risk management, then adjust them to balance action on both sides. Prediction markets, by contrast, aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery—odds reflect what thousands of participants collectively believe will happen. For esports events like this one, prediction market odds can sometimes diverge from sportsbook lines because traders may have specialized knowledge or different risk appetites. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest or where outlier views exist.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome reflects the current consensus among active traders. As more volume flows into one side, the price adjusts to incentivize balanced participation. You can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and your trade executes at the current price. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures odds stay responsive to new information and trader conviction.
This market resolves around Jul 15, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect the final series result—whether one team wins the best-of-three or if the match is voided due to unforeseen circumstances. Until that point, you can trade your position freely. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the event's completion, after official confirmation from the tournament organizer or reliable esports reporting.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins or during play. Roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements often trigger sharp moves. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and map pool matchups are key catalysts traders monitor. During the series itself, map outcomes and momentum swings can cause rapid repricing. Unexpected technical issues or delays might also influence trader sentiment. Monitoring team social media, esports news outlets, and pre-match analysis helps identify emerging signals that could reshape market expectations.
