Description

This event group covers Counter-Strike matches between BBL and Infinite in the Logitech G Play Connect Group B. It includes markets for the overall match winner, the round handicap on Map 1, and the total rounds played on Map 1. Resolution relies on official results from hltv.org.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution criteria, relying on hltv.org as the primary source and outlining the same procedures for postponements, forfeits, and source verification.Primary resolution logic: https://hltv.org

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner markets resolve based on the official result of the match.
  • Map 1 round handicap resolves based on the official round score of Map 1, with a 3.5-round spread.
  • Map 1 total rounds resolves based on the official total rounds played on Map 1.
  • If a match is postponed, it must be rescheduled within 14 days; otherwise, markets resolve 50-50.
  • Forfeits/disqualifications/walkovers resolve to 50-50 for the overall match winner, and to the winning team if occurring during Map 1.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Tie: If the match ends in a tie, all markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Name Discrepancies: Minor discrepancies in team names will be resolved based on the underlying real-world match.
  • Map 1 Not Played: If Map 1 is not played at all, or is not played to completion, the Map 1 specific markets resolve to 50-50.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the official results are published on hltv.org, or within 2 hours of the event's conclusion if hltv.org is delayed, utilizing credible reporting and video evidence as needed. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between BBL and Infinite in the Logitech G Play Connect Group B, initially scheduled for September 18, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "BBL" if BBL win the match against Infinite. This market will resolve to "Infinite" if Infinite win the match against BBL. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 18, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders. This can lead to probabilities that differ from traditional sportsbooks, which may be influenced by factors like house bias or initial public perception. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while prediction markets aim to accurately forecast the true probability of an event. The efficiency of this market can be a useful signal, potentially identifying discrepancies between public sentiment and informed predictions about the match’s outcome.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Predict for this market can arise due to several factors. Differences in user base, trading volume, and market-making activity all contribute to price variations. Each platform attracts a distinct pool of traders with potentially differing opinions and risk appetites. Furthermore, the liquidity available on each platform impacts price discovery; lower volume can lead to greater price swings. The current volume of $110,107 suggests moderate interest, but differing trading strategies on Polymarket and Predict can still cause price divergence.
