Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 1 match between Aurora Gaming and TheMongolz in the BLAST Open Rotterdam Playoffs, initially scheduled for March 27 at 10:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Aurora Gaming" if Aurora Gaming win the match against TheMongolz. This market will resolve to "TheMongolz" if TheMongolz win the match against Aurora Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket resolve fundamentally different events. Kalshi resolves based on the tournament winner (Aurora Gaming or TheMongolz winning BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026), while Polymarket resolves based on specific match statistics (Map 1/2/3 kills, rounds, Map 2 winner, series length, handicaps, and the head-to-head match result). These are incompatible resolution scopes.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Kalshi, you are betting on who wins the entire BLAST Open Rotterdam tournament. If you trade on Polymarket, you are betting on specific statistics and outcomes of only the Aurora Gaming vs TheMongolz quarterfinal match. A team can win the tournament without winning this specific match (if they advance via opponent forfeit or if the match is not played). Conversely, a team can win this match but lose the tournament later. Do not assume Kalshi and Polymarket outcomes will align.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Resolves YES if either Aurora Gaming OR TheMongolz wins the entire BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 tournament. The resolution condition is 'If Aurora Gaming wins the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026... then the market resolves to Yes' OR 'If The Mongolz wins the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026... then the market resolves to Yes.' This is a tournament-level outcome, not a match-specific outcome.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Resolves based on the specific quarterfinal match between Aurora Gaming and TheMongolz (BO3, scheduled March 27, 2026) and detailed in-match statistics. Markets include: match winner, individual map winners (Maps 1, 2, 3), total kills per map (odd/even), total rounds per map (odd/even), series length (O/U 2.5 maps), and map handicaps. All resolution is contingent on the match being played and completed; if the match is not played or the series is decided before certain maps are needed, those markets resolve 50-50.
