PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms (Kalshi and Polymarket) apply identical resolution logic: HLTV.org as primary source, 2-hour fallback to credible consensus, forfeits and walkovers count if match completes, and 50-50 for cancellations, ties, or incomplete matches with forfeit outcomes.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org (official); credible reporting with video evidence if HLTV.org does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner (Astralis vs Monte) resolves to the team winning the BO3 series, or 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with forfeit/disqualification
  • Total maps (Over/Under 2.5) resolves to Over if 3+ maps played, Under if fewer than 3 maps played; 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with forfeit
  • Individual map winners (Map 1, Map 2) resolve to the team winning that specific map if completed; 50-50 if map not completed or match canceled/delayed beyond 7 days
  • Map handicaps (Astralis -1.5 or Monte -1.5) resolve based on map differential; 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with forfeit/disqualification
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward totals and handicaps only if the overall match is completed
  • If match begins but is incomplete and one team wins due to opponent forfeit/disqualification/walkover, match winner resolves to winning team; handicap and total maps resolve to 50-50

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Clinching map forfeited: If the match-clinching map is forfeited, the match is considered completed and resolves accordingly; forfeited map counts toward totals and handicaps
  • Incomplete match with forfeit: If match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeit/disqualification/walkover, match winner resolves to the winning team; total maps and handicap markets resolve to 50-50
  • Cancellation or tie: If match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from scheduled date without a winner determined, all markets resolve to 50-50
  • Forfeit before match start: If match ends in forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before start (team withdraws and other wins automatically), match winner resolves to 50-50; other markets also resolve to 50-50
  • Source delay fallback: If HLTV.org has not published final results within 2 hours after event conclusion, resolution may use consensus of credible reporting including video evidence

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon match completion and official publication by HLTV.org, or within 2 hours thereafter via credible consensus reporting. Markets resolve to 50-50 if match is not completed or determined within 7 days of scheduled date (March 1, 2026 at 7:00 AM ET).
