Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket semifinal 2 match between Astralis and G2 in the BLAST Rivals Group A, initially scheduled for April 29 at 1:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Astralis" if Astralis win the match against G2. This market will resolve to "G2" if G2 win the match against Astralis. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Kalshi and Polymarket share identical resolution sources (HLTV.org primary, credible reporting secondary), matching edge-case handling for cancellations, delays, forfeits, and map-level contingencies.

Primary resolution logic:

Official HLTV.org; if unavailable within 2 hours of event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting including video evidence.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins the BO3 series (first to 2 maps).
  • If match is canceled, ends in a tie, or delayed beyond 7 days without completion, resolve to 50-50.
  • If match begins but is not completed and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, resolve to the winning team.
  • If match ends due to pre-match forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before start), resolve to 50-50.
  • Maps won by forfeit/disqualification/walkover after series start count toward series total and handicap.
  • Series length (O/U 2.5 maps) resolves Over if 3+ maps are played, Under if fewer than 3.
  • Map winner markets resolve based on the completed map; if map is not played or series clinches before that map, resolve to 50-50.
  • Map statistics (rounds, kills) resolve Odd/Even based on total combined count; if map not played or series clinches before it, resolve to 50-50.
  • Team name discrepancies (abbreviations, alternate spellings, sponsor tags, regional identifiers) are treated as referring to the same team if intent is clear and unambiguous.
  • If team name has no reasonable connection to any participant or could refer to multiple teams in the same competition, resolve to 50-50.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Map 3: If Astralis or G2 wins 2 maps before Map 3 is played, Map 3 markets (winner, rounds, kills) resolve to 50-50. Series length resolves Under (fewer than 3 maps).
  • Map Forfeiture After Series Start: If a team forfeits a map after the series has begun, that map counts as a loss for the forfeiting team and counts toward the series total and handicap calculations.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled April 29 date without a winner determined, all markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Incomplete Map with No Winner: If a map begins but is not completed and no winner is determined (e.g., technical issue, mutual withdrawal), that map does not count toward series total or map-level statistics; map winner resolves to 50-50.
  • Map Remake: If a map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only; the original game is disregarded.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon match completion (when series winner is determined) or at the 7-day delay threshold, whichever comes first. HLTV.org data is checked immediately post-event; if unavailable, credible reporting is consulted within 2 hours of event conclusion.
