Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 4 match between ASTRAL and Omega in the CCT Europe Series #20 Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 5 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "ASTRAL" if ASTRAL win the match against Omega. This market will resolve to "Omega" if Omega win the match against ASTRAL. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi markets resolve on the series outcome (who wins the BO3), while Polymarket markets resolve on individual map outcomes, map statistics, and series handicap. Kalshi's two markets are logically contradictory (both resolve YES regardless of outcome), making them fundamentally unresolvable. Polymarket provides coherent, map-level resolution criteria.

Hero Tip:

Avoid Kalshi markets entirely — both are logically broken and will likely resolve 50-50 due to irresolvable contradiction. Trade Polymarket markets instead, which have clear map-winner and statistics-based criteria tied to HLTV data.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's two markets both state 'If Omega wins... then resolves to Yes' AND 'If ASTRAL wins... then resolves to Yes', creating a logical contradiction where the market resolves YES for every possible outcome. This makes both Kalshi markets fundamentally unresolvable and likely to default to 50-50.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket provides eight coherent markets with map-specific resolution criteria (Map 1 Winner, Map 2 Winner, Map 3 Winner, Games Total O/U 2.5, Map 1/2/3 Odd/Even Kills, Map 1/2/3 Odd/Even Rounds, Map Handicap, and Series Winner). All resolve based on official HLTV data with clear thresholds: 'This market will resolve to ASTRAL if ASTRAL win Map X' and 'This market will resolve Over if ASTRAL and Omega play 3 or more maps in this series.'
