This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 2 match between ARCRED and 1WIN in the European Pro League Series 8 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 20 at 6:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "ARCRED" if ARCRED win the match against 1WIN. This market will resolve to "1WIN" if 1WIN win the match against ARCRED. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. On prediction markets, traders stake real capital and face direct financial consequences for accuracy, which can sharpen price discovery. Sportsbooks, by contrast, balance action across both sides and incorporate margin. For this market, comparing the implied probabilities on Polymarket to consensus sportsbook lines can reveal where professional bettors and retail traders disagree on the likely outcome. Larger gaps may signal either a mispricing opportunity or genuine uncertainty about the matchup.
This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, once the series concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final result of the best-of-three playoff match, with the victor confirmed through official tournament records and broadcast documentation. Until that point, traders can adjust positions as new information emerges—team roster changes, recent form, map bans, and other pre-match developments. Resolution is automatic once the event is complete and the data is publicly available.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the series begins. Roster announcements or unexpected player absences would immediately reprice the matchup, as would recent tournament results or head-to-head records between the teams. Map pool updates and veto strategy leaks often trigger volatility, since certain teams excel on specific maps. Injury reports, coaching changes, or public statements from players can also influence trader sentiment. Closer to the event, warm-up match results and betting syndicate activity may accelerate repricing. Monitor official league communications and team social media for breaking news that could reshape expectations.
