Resolution will be determined by HLTV.org official match records. Watch for the match scheduled for July 11, 2026 at 4:00 AM ET, which will determine the semifinal winner and advance the victor toward the championship finals.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Semifinal 1 match between 9z and Alliance in the XSE Pro League Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 11 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "9z" if 9z win the match against Alliance. This market will resolve to "Alliance" if Alliance win the match against 9z. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders risking real capital on outcomes. For this market, comparing the implied probabilities on Polymarket to published esports sportsbook lines can reveal whether the prediction market is pricing the series differently—sometimes prediction markets react faster to roster changes, recent form, or player news. Neither source is inherently more accurate; they simply represent different aggregation mechanisms for the same underlying uncertainty.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts contract prices based on trading volume and order flow. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome contract reflects a specific handicap or match result, with the price representing the crowd's estimated probability of that outcome occurring. As traders buy or sell contracts, the price shifts in real time, and the platform's liquidity pools ensure continuous pricing. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before market resolution, and the final price at close reflects the last consensus before the event concludes.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, once the best-of-three series between the two teams concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official match result as recorded by the esports league or tournament organizer. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final map completion, allowing the prediction market to settle quickly and fairly. Traders should monitor official league channels and verified esports news sources for confirmation of the final score and series winner.
Several factors could shift odds before the series begins or during play. Last-minute roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements can alter perceived team strength and trigger repricing. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and map pool performance data often influence trader sentiment. In-game momentum during the series itself—such as an unexpected map win or a dominant first half—can cause sharp price swings as traders update their beliefs. Analyst commentary, team statements, or technical issues affecting either squad may also prompt market movement as new information reaches the trading community.
