This market tracks the outcome of the second set in the professional tennis match between Corentin Moutet and Marton Fucsovics at the 2026 ATP Mallorca Round of 32 on June 22. The market will resolve based on which player wins set 2.
The market resolves to Yes for whichever player wins set 2 in the Corentin Moutet vs Marton Fucsovics match at the 2026 ATP Mallorca Round of 32. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play will resolve accordingly; those that cannot be settled will resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction markets and sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from real-time trader demand and supply. This market reflects what thousands of independent traders believe will happen, rather than a bookmaker's calculated spread. Prediction market odds often incorporate diverse information sources and can shift rapidly as new data emerges, whereas sportsbook lines may adjust more slowly or conservatively to manage risk exposure.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief about the likelihood of that outcome, ranging from near-zero to near-100. As traders place bids and asks, the market price adjusts in real time. You can enter limit or market orders to position yourself, and the current price you see represents the most recent consensus among active participants on the platform.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the second set of the Moutet versus Fucsovics match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the set according to official match records. Until that point, the market remains open for trading, and prices may fluctuate based on pre-match analysis, player form, and any other factors traders believe are relevant. Resolution is final once the event is confirmed.
Several factors could shift prices before the match begins. Recent player performance, head-to-head records, and surface conditions may influence trader positioning. Injury reports or lineup changes announced closer to the event could trigger sharp moves. Pre-match commentary from analysts and betting syndicates often prompts repositioning. Court conditions, weather, and player momentum in earlier rounds of the tournament can also sway sentiment. As the match start time approaches, any breaking news or updated odds from other venues may prompt traders to adjust their positions on this market.
