This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Janjua Brescia and Cividate scheduled for 2026-06-29 in Coppa il Mondo T10. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Janjua Brescia will be considered correct if Janjua Brescia is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Cividate will be considered correct if Cividate is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders risking real capital on their beliefs. In cricket toss markets, sportsbooks may offer narrower ranges, whereas prediction markets can show wider swings based on breaking news or shifts in trader conviction. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether the crowd is pricing the toss outcome more optimistically or pessimistically than traditional bookmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the ratio of liquidity pools; as traders accumulate shares in one direction, the cost to buy additional shares in that outcome rises, and the opposing outcome becomes cheaper. This continuous repricing ensures the market remains liquid and responsive to new information. You can execute trades instantly at the displayed price without waiting for a counterparty, making it easy to enter or exit positions as your conviction changes.
This market resolves around Jul 6, 2026, once the toss result from the Janjua Brescia vs Cividate match is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official toss call announced at the ground on match day. Until that moment, traders can continue to buy and sell shares, and prices may shift based on team news, weather updates, or other factors that influence perception of the toss outcome. Resolution is final once the event concludes and the result is publicly confirmed.
Several factors could shift this market before resolution. Team roster announcements or injury updates may alter perceived advantage in the toss outcome, especially if key players are unavailable. Weather forecasts closer to match day—such as rain or wind patterns—can influence toss strategy and trader positioning. Venue-specific conditions, pitch reports, or historical toss trends at the ground may prompt repricing as match day approaches. Additionally, any official statements from team captains about their toss preferences or recent form could trigger trading activity. Real-time updates during the pre-match broadcast will likely drive final price adjustments before the coin flip occurs.
