This market refers to the cricket match between Janjua Brescia and Cividate scheduled for June 29 2026 in Coppa il Mondo T10. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions, the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than major sportsbooks depending on whether informed traders have identified value. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd's consensus differs from professional oddsmakers' assessments.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the event's result, and the price you see reflects the current ratio of capital allocated to each outcome. As new information surfaces—team lineups, weather, injury reports—traders adjust their positions, moving prices to reflect updated expectations. The more capital flowing into a particular outcome, the higher its price rises.
This market resolves around Jul 6, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by the official result of the cricket fixture between the two teams. Until that point, prices will fluctuate as traders incorporate new information and adjust their views on which team is more likely to prevail.
Key catalysts include official team announcements regarding player availability, injuries to star performers, and weather forecasts that might affect playing conditions. Recent form and head-to-head records often influence trader sentiment as the match approaches. Venue-specific factors—pitch conditions, altitude, home-ground advantage—can also shift probabilities. Breaking news about team composition changes or last-minute roster adjustments typically triggers sharp price movements as traders reassess their positions.
