This market refers to the cricket match between Cricket Stars and Bologna scheduled for June 30 2026 in Coppa il Mondo T10. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions, the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader belief and capital allocation. In this market, the odds you see represent what thousands of independent participants are willing to stake on the outcome, with no house margin baked in. Comparing the two can reveal value: if sportsbooks and prediction markets disagree significantly, one may be mispricing the event. Many traders monitor both to identify arbitrage opportunities or sharper probability estimates.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously as traders buy and sell shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the ratio of capital deployed on that side relative to the total liquidity pool. When traders believe Cricket Stars will win, they buy shares at the current ask price, pushing the odds higher; conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This mechanism ensures the market stays liquid and responsive to new information throughout the trading period.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result, with no ambiguity over which team prevailed. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, allowing traders to settle positions quickly. Until that point, the market remains open for trading, and prices may shift as match day draws closer or if injury news or other developments alter expectations.
Several factors could shift odds before the match concludes. Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or roster updates—often triggers sharp price moves as traders reassess win probability. Weather conditions and pitch reports from the venue can influence outcomes in T10 cricket, where conditions matter significantly. Recent form, head-to-head records, and betting patterns from traditional sportsbooks may also influence trader sentiment. As match day approaches, casual interest typically rises, potentially increasing volume and volatility. Any breaking news about player availability or external circumstances could prompt rapid repricing.
