This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Bologna and Cricket Shop Italy scheduled for 2026-06-30 in Coppa il Mondo T10. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Bologna will be considered correct if Bologna is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Cricket Shop Italy will be considered correct if Cricket Shop Italy is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate decentralized trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market reflects crowdsourced expectations rather than a bookmaker's margin-adjusted lines. Comparing the two can reveal where professional oddsmakers and the broader prediction market community disagree on the toss outcome probability.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism, where each outcome's price reflects the cumulative trading activity and belief of participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The toss outcome is represented as a binary contract, with prices ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%), where higher prices indicate stronger market confidence in that result. As traders buy and sell shares, the price adjusts continuously to balance supply and demand.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the toss outcome from the Bologna vs Cricket Shop Italy match is confirmed and verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on the official toss result announced at the start of the match. Traders should monitor official match communications and reputable cricket reporting to track when the event concludes and the market settles accordingly.
Several factors could shift prices in this market before resolution. Team news, injury updates, or lineup changes announced closer to match day may influence trader expectations about toss dynamics. Weather conditions, pitch reports, and venue-specific factors could also sway sentiment, as teams may adjust their toss strategy based on field conditions. Additionally, any official statements from team captains or broadcasters about toss strategy could trigger trading activity and repricing.
