These markets track how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Colorado and Northwestern. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams in that quarter, with higher thresholds representing more points being scored.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Colorado vs Northwestern college football game scheduled for September 19, 2026. For any market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold, it resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored in the 4th quarter count, and overtime points are excluded from all calculations.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the traders. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price converges towards a consensus view. Traders aim to profit by accurately predicting the outcome and capitalizing on price differences. The current price indicates what traders are collectively willing to pay for a contract predicting a specific point total in the fourth quarter.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point total scored in the fourth quarter of the Colorado versus Northwestern football game will determine the outcome. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the correct outcome will receive a payout, while those holding contracts on incorrect outcomes will not. This provides a clear and objective determination of the market’s result.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries to key offensive players on either team would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also impact scoring expectations and shift trader sentiment. Furthermore, any significant shifts in public perception regarding the teams’ offensive capabilities, perhaps driven by expert analysis or updated statistics, could influence trading activity and move the market. Game-day developments, such as early scoring drives or turnovers, will also have an immediate effect.
