These markets evaluate different thresholds of points scored by both teams combined during the second quarter of a college football game. Each threshold represents a specific point total that, if exceeded, determines the outcome of that particular market.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the second quarter of the Colorado vs Northwestern college football game scheduled for September 19, 2026. Each market has a unique threshold: if the combined second-quarter points exceed the specified threshold (2.5, 5.5, 7.5, 10.5, 12.5, 13.5, 16.5, 19.5, 20.5, 23.5, or 27.5 points), that market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Only points scored during the official second quarter count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their beliefs. It's common to see discrepancies emerge, especially as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts. Comparing these odds can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making, but it’s important to remember that each represents a different form of forecasting.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final total points scored in the 2nd quarter of the Colorado versus Northwestern football game will determine the result. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring an objective and verifiable outcome. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in their account balances after the resolution process is complete, based on whether their contracts predicted the correct outcome.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Colorado or Northwestern would likely cause movement, as would significant changes in weather forecasts for the game location. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or team lineups could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, public perception and sentiment, influenced by media coverage and social media discussions, can play a role in shifting the market's price as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
