Prediction market odds reflect what traders are willing to pay now, often differing from sportsbook lines because they incorporate real-time sentiment and can shift quickly. For this market, the implied probability may be higher or lower than sportsbook favorites depending on trader confidence. These markets let you bet on crowd wisdom rather than traditional bookmaker lines.
On Polymarket and Predict, prices can vary because each venue has its own user base, liquidity, and trading dynamics. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might see heavier betting on a certain outcome, pushing its price away from the other. This divergence creates opportunities to compare where each community stands on the contest.
