This market will resolve to "Draw" if Colon de Santa Fe and Deportivo Moron score the same number of goals in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Deportivo Moron" if Deportivo Moron score more goals than Colon de Santa Fe in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Draw". This market refers only to the outcome within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and need to account for profit margins. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. As more information becomes available – like team news or weather reports – and as the event draws closer, the odds on Polymarket may converge with or diverge from sportsbook odds depending on how that new information is interpreted by bettors and prediction market participants alike.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in different second-half outcomes. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of the potential result.
This market resolves around Sep 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team – Colon de Santa Fe or Deportivo Moron – wins the second half of the match. The official result declared by the governing football authority will be used to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final share price at resolution, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment.
Several signals could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Colon de Santa Fe or Deportivo Moron would likely impact the odds. Tactical changes announced by either team’s manager could also influence trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could be a factor. Finally, any significant shifts in public opinion, perhaps driven by expert analysis or social media discussions, could lead to changes in trading volume and ultimately, the price of shares in this market.
