Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the Colombia vs Switzerland goal-margin market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for whether Colombia will defeat Switzerland by a margin of two or more goals. The interface displays current market prices, historical price movements, and trading volume data that reflect how traders are positioning themselves on this outcome. This dashboard lets you monitor shifts in sentiment as the match approaches, giving you visibility into how the prediction market is pricing the likelihood of a decisive Colombian victory.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms and participant bases. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who buy and sell shares based on their own probability estimates. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because traders have direct financial incentive to identify mispriced outcomes. However, sportsbook odds may incorporate additional factors like injury reports or public betting patterns. Comparing the two can reveal valuable insights into how different groups assess the likelihood of a two-goal Colombian victory.

On Limitless, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of any outcome reflects the most recent trade executed, and as new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their orders, causing the odds to move in real time. This continuous price discovery process means the market price represents an aggregated view of trader beliefs about the probability of Colombia winning by two or more goals, updated dynamically throughout the trading period.

This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once the Colombia versus Switzerland match concludes and the final goal margin is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official final score: if Colombia wins by exactly two goals or more, the affirmative position resolves to yes; any other result resolves to no. Resolution occurs after the match ends and the result is confirmed through standard sports reporting channels.

Several factors could shift odds in this market before it resolves. Team news—such as injuries to key players, lineup changes, or tactical announcements—often triggers significant price movement. Recent form, head-to-head history, and any developments in either squad's preparation can influence trader confidence in a Colombian blowout. Betting market activity and sharp money flowing into one side may also move prices as professional traders position themselves. Closer to kickoff, late-breaking information about starting lineups or weather conditions could cause final adjustments to the odds.
