If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their predictions. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price of shares representing that outcome will rise. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds, especially when there’s strong public sentiment or inside information not yet reflected in sportsbook lines.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Colchester vs. Cheltenham match, as officially recorded by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning outcome. Shares will then pay out based on whether the predicted exact score matches the actual result. It’s important to note that the resolution is based on the official result and not on any individual’s interpretation or unofficial source.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or unexpected weather conditions could shift the perceived probabilities. Significant pre-match analysis from sports commentators or analysts, if it gains widespread attention, might also impact trading activity. Furthermore, large volume trades by influential participants on Polymarket could create short-term price fluctuations, reflecting a change in sentiment or new information. Monitoring these signals can help you understand potential shifts in the market.
