Both platforms measure the same underlying event but use different market structures.
In the upcoming Brazil Serie B game between Clube Náutico Capibaribe and Londrina EC, scheduled for July 22, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Clube Náutico Capibaribe vs. Londrina EC match originally scheduled for July 22, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Resolution is based on the total goals scored by both teams combined in the Nautico vs Londrina professional Brasileiro Serie B soccer game originally scheduled for July 22, 2026, measured after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (excluding extra time and penalties). The final goal count is determined by official match records at the conclusion of regulation play.
Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi derive odds directly from trader behavior and capital allocation, rather than from a bookmaker's margin. This often produces tighter spreads and faster price discovery than traditional sportsbooks, especially on niche outcomes like exact scores. However, prediction markets may have lower liquidity on some outcomes, leading to wider bid-ask gaps. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks reveals whether traders are pricing in information—such as team form or injury news—faster or differently than conventional oddsmakers.
Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or managerial decisions—often shifts exact-score odds significantly. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day can also influence trader sentiment. Breaking news about suspensions or last-minute roster moves typically triggers sharp price moves across both platforms. Additionally, if one team is heavily favored or underdog status shifts, traders may reprrice the likelihood of specific scorelines. Monitoring pre-match press conferences and official team announcements helps you stay ahead of market repricing.
