In the upcoming Brazil Série A game between Clube do Remo and EC Vitória, scheduled for July 26, 2026 at 6:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Clube do Remo vs. EC Vitória match originally scheduled for July 26, 2026 at 6:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Resolution is determined by the total goals scored by both teams combined during the Remo vs Vitoria professional Brasileiro Serie A soccer game originally scheduled for July 26, 2026, measured after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (excluding extra time or penalties). Each outcome threshold represents a specific goal total: outcomes resolve to Yes if the combined goal count exceeds their respective thresholds (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5 goals). The market uses standard soccer scoring rules where each goal counts as one point toward the total.
Prediction markets and sportsbooks price outcomes differently because they operate on distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets rely on trader consensus—each participant's capital vote shapes the odds in real time. Prediction markets often reflect sharper, more granular probabilities for niche outcomes like exact scores, since traders can express precise beliefs without the sportsbook's margin. Over time, prediction market prices tend to converge toward actual outcomes, making them valuable for comparing against traditional betting lines.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, all of which influence how prices evolve. Polymarket and Kalshi may also enforce slightly different rules around market creation, dispute resolution, and trading hours. Arbitrage opportunities sometimes emerge when one venue prices a scoreline higher or lower than the other, incentivizing traders to exploit the gap. These differences typically narrow as the event approaches and more capital flows to the most accurate pricing.
Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—can shift odds significantly, especially if a key player is ruled out. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day all influence trader sentiment. Late betting action from sharp bettors often signals confidence in a particular outcome and can compress odds. As kickoff approaches, any official announcements about venue, referee assignments, or last-minute roster moves may trigger repricing across both platforms.
