Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All platforms resolve based on the official match outcome within 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 25, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations across Polymarket and Kalshi.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the governing body (CBF - Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) or credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
The match outcome is determined by the result within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only, excluding extra time and penalties.
Three mutually exclusive outcomes exist: Clube do Remo wins, Cruzeiro EC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and the win markets resolve NO.
Exactly one outcome will occur, and the corresponding market(s) will resolve YES while others resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on a future date.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no rescheduled makeup game, the draw market resolves YES, and both win markets resolve NO.
Resolution Source Timing: If official CBF statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus from multiple reputable sources may be used as the resolution basis.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by CBF or credible reporting consensus, no later than 2 hours after the match concludes.
