These markets resolve based on the goal differential if Tijuana de Caliente or Pumas UNAM wins the match. The first two markets require Tijuana de Caliente to win by more than 2.5 or 1.5 goals, respectively, while the latter two require Pumas UNAM to win by more than 1.5 or 2.5 goals. Victory must be achieved within 90 minutes plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shootout results are excluded. On Polymarket, this market reflects crowd-sourced forecasts shaped by active trader participation, while traditional sportsbooks blend historical data and risk management into their lines. Prediction markets often show tighter spreads and more granular outcomes, such as exact goal margins, which sportsbooks typically simplify into broader categories like over/under totals. The crowd-driven nature of prediction platforms can lead to sharper price adjustments in real time, especially for niche matchups like the Club Tijuana vs. Pumas match market. However, sportsbooks may incorporate additional factors like venue advantages or recent form more explicitly, creating variance in implied probabilities.
