If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the actual betting activity of participants rather than set odds from a bookmaker. On Polymarket, the probability percentages can appear more extreme, especially for less likely scorelines, due to the trading mechanism that lets users buy and sell contracts at market-driven prices. Sportsbook odds may balance risk differently, often incorporating a house edge, while this market offers a direct reflection of crowd-sourced expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact final score reported by trusted sports news sources and official league records will determine which outcome shares pay out. As long as the match goes ahead as scheduled, the result will lock in shortly after the final whistle, based on impartial, widely accepted data.
Injuries to key players, weather conditions, or tactical changes announced by coaches can all shift this market. Recent form — whether either team wins or concedes heavily in their prior matches — may also sway trader sentiment. Media reports about team morale or strategic adjustments often create short-term volatility. Any last-minute lineup changes or referee announcements closer to kickoff are also likely to move probabilities dramatically on Polymarket.
