Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Puebla vs. Guadalajara second half market displays real-time odds and price movements as traders buy and sell shares tied to the second-half outcome. You can monitor the current implied probability of each result, historical price charts, and recent trading activity. The platform aggregates all orders and trades into a live feed, letting you see how market sentiment shifts as new information emerges. This view helps traders identify value and track whether consensus is moving toward one outcome or remaining balanced across multiple possibilities.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets are driven by trader belief and real-money commitment. In many cases, prediction markets have outperformed traditional oddsmakers on sports outcomes because participants face direct financial consequences for accuracy. However, sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news or injury reports. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal whether traders are pricing in information that bookmakers have not yet reflected.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing each outcome trade continuously, and the current price of a share reflects the platform's calculated likelihood of that result. As more traders buy or sell a particular outcome, its price adjusts automatically. This mechanism ensures transparent, friction-free pricing and allows you to enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, with the spread between buy and sell prices determined by order flow and market depth.

This market resolves around Aug 1, 2026, once the second half of the match between Puebla and Guadalajara is complete and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect the official final score or result recorded by the relevant sports authority. Traders should monitor the event schedule closely as the resolution date approaches to ensure they understand the exact timing and any potential delays due to postponements or other unforeseen circumstances.

Several factors can shift trader sentiment before resolution. Team news—such as injury announcements, lineup changes, or managerial decisions—often triggers sharp price moves. First-half performance is a major catalyst; a team trailing significantly may see its second-half odds compress if traders believe a comeback is unlikely. Weather, referee assignments, and historical head-to-head patterns can also influence expectations. Social media discussion, expert commentary, and betting syndicates entering the market may amplify volatility. Close to kickoff, any last-minute roster updates or venue changes could drive final repricing as traders incorporate the latest information.
