Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market relies on traders’ individual assessments. If a significant number of traders believe a particular score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, biases, or simply the collective insight of market participants. Observing these differences can highlight potential value opportunities for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s current assessment of the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. Higher demand for shares of a particular score will drive its price up, indicating increased confidence in that outcome. Conversely, declining demand will lower the price. The market dynamically adjusts until the event concludes.
This market resolves around Sep 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
