Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than fixed odds set by oddsmakers. This market aggregates thousands of individual forecasts, which can lead to sharper or more reactive pricing during live play. Sportsbooks adjust lines to manage liability; prediction markets adjust through continuous trading. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value or where public perception differs from professional bookmaker estimates.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker (AMM) system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 1 (or 0–100 cents), reflecting the collective probability assigned by the market. As more traders back one result, its price rises and others fall. The spread between bid and ask prices tightens with higher volume, making execution more efficient for active traders.
This market resolves around Jun 13, 2026, once the second half of the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will reflect which team scored more goals in that period, or whether the half ended in a draw. Resolution occurs after official confirmation, ensuring accuracy and fairness to all traders.
Key catalysts include team lineups and injury announcements before kickoff, early second-half momentum shifts, and goal-scoring events during play. Red cards or tactical changes can dramatically alter expectations. Weather conditions, crowd energy, and substitution patterns also influence trader positioning. Live commentary and social media reactions often trigger rapid repricing as new information surfaces, so monitoring real-time match updates helps anticipate market moves.
