Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as the event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, whereas this market aggregates the beliefs of many independent traders. However, initial sportsbook lines can sometimes offer value if they significantly diverge from the prediction market probabilities. It's essential to compare both to identify potential discrepancies and make informed decisions. The current price action suggests traders have a different view than initial sportsbook offerings.
