Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that prediction market participants have information or perspectives not fully incorporated by sportsbooks. Keep in mind that both represent probabilities of the same event, but are derived through different mechanisms.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the likelihood of each team scoring first. The current price indicates what the market believes is the fair probability of a particular team taking the early lead in the Club Bolívar vs. San José match.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the Club Bolívar vs. GV CD San José match. The official match records will serve as the determining factor for settling this market. Any disputes regarding the outcome will be assessed against publicly available and widely accepted match data to ensure a fair and transparent resolution process.
