In the upcoming La Liga game between Club Atlético de Madrid and CA Osasuna, scheduled for September 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Club Atlético de Madrid vs. CA Osasuna match originally scheduled for September 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, and can sometimes differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by professional oddsmakers, while this market’s odds are determined by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or risk assessments. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information more quickly than sportsbooks, especially in response to breaking news or late-developing insights about team form or player availability.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s overall volume and trading activity influence price discovery, allowing the collective intelligence of traders to determine the most likely result of the first half.
This market resolves around Sep 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official exact score at the end of the first half of the Club Atlético de Madrid versus CA Osasuna match. The official match data will be used to determine the winning share(s) in this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings after the outcome has been verified and confirmed on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price action of this market before resolution. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either Atlético Madrid or Osasuna would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even late-breaking news about referee assignments, could introduce volatility. Finally, large-volume trades by influential traders on Polymarket can also trigger price movements.
