In the upcoming Primera Nacional game between Club Almirante Brown and Ferro Carril Oeste, scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Club Almirante Brown vs. Ferro Carril Oeste match originally scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, they can trade in a way that shifts the price on Polymarket to reflect that belief. Therefore, discrepancies can arise based on differing information or analytical approaches, potentially offering value to informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share directly reflects the market's implied probability of that score occurring. As more shares are bought for a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand among traders on the platform, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event’s potential outcomes. This is a forward-looking assessment, not a historical record.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Argentinian soccer match – the exact score – will be used to determine which shares pay out. The resolution will be based on the score reported by official sources and will be publicly available. Traders should monitor official sources as the match progresses to understand how the outcome is unfolding and how it will affect the market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or even weather conditions could shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected announcements about team strategy or coaching changes might also have an impact. Furthermore, as the match approaches, real-time updates on team form and public sentiment could drive trading volume and price fluctuations. Shifts in public opinion, reflected in polls or expert analysis, can also influence trading behavior on Polymarket.
