The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who buy and sell shares based on their own beliefs about the outcome. Sportsbooks may adjust lines more slowly, whereas this market can shift rapidly as new information emerges or as traders update their views. Neither is inherently more accurate, but comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism where traders buy and sell outcome shares directly against a liquidity pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the ratio of shares held in the pool; as traders buy shares of a particular scoreline, its price rises and others fall. This continuous pricing model means odds update in real time with every trade, and the spread between bid and ask prices tightens as volume increases. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes.
This market resolves around Jul 24, 2026, once the match between Alianza Atlético and Los Chankas concludes. The outcome is determined by the final score at the end of regular time, verified against credible public sources covering the fixture. Traders holding shares in the correct exact scoreline receive their payout, while incorrect predictions expire worthless. The resolution process is automated once the final result is confirmed and reported.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before it closes. Team news—such as injuries to key players, lineup announcements, or tactical changes—often triggers sharp price moves. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day can all influence trader expectations about the likely scoreline. Major betting syndicates or sharp bettors entering the market may also cause rapid repricing. As the match approaches, odds typically narrow and stabilize once the starting lineups are confirmed and uncertainty decreases.
