The event determines the outcome based solely on the number of runs scored by each team during the 8th inning of the specified Cleveland vs. Boston baseball game. If Cleveland scores more runs in that inning, the 'Cleveland wins 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. If Boston scores more runs, the 'Boston wins 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of runs, or if neither team scores any runs, the 'Tie 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. Should the game end before the 8th inning is completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. Only runs scored during the 8th inning are considered; runs from any other innings are irrelevant to the resolution of these markets.
