Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It's common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as prediction markets can incorporate information and perspectives not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. Analyzing these differences can offer valuable insights into public perception and potential value bets, though it’s important to remember both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
