These markets evaluate different thresholds of points scored by both teams combined in the second quarter of a college football game. Each threshold represents a specific point total that, if exceeded, determines the outcome of that particular market.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the second quarter of the Clemson vs LSU college football game scheduled for September 5, 2026. Each market has a unique threshold; if the combined second-quarter points exceed the specified threshold, that market resolves to Yes. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the second quarter count toward these markets.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals trading contracts based on their own analysis and information. As a result, you may find that the implied probability of a particular outcome in this market differs from what sportsbooks are offering, potentially revealing areas where the crowd disagrees with professional oddsmakers. It's a valuable comparison point for informed decision-making.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final total points scored in the 2nd quarter of the Clemson vs LSU game will be used to determine which contracts pay out. Contracts predicting a total within the actual range will settle at 100, while those predicting outside that range will settle to 0. The resolution will be based on official game statistics and verified against credible public sources, ensuring a transparent and accurate outcome.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Clemson or LSU would likely cause significant shifts in the price. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest a high-scoring or low-scoring game, could also impact the market. Furthermore, any significant public analysis or expert predictions about the game's potential point total could sway trader sentiment and drive price movements. Unexpected line movements in sportsbooks could also prompt traders to reassess their positions in this market.
