Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how each is determined. Sportsbooks set lines based on internal models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, reflects the aggregated beliefs of a diverse group of traders, potentially uncovering information not fully captured by sportsbooks. While both aim to predict the same event, the underlying mechanisms and information sources lead to potentially different probabilities and payouts. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges.
