These markets focus on predicting how many strikeouts specific pitchers will achieve in an upcoming baseball game between Cincinnati and St. Louis. Each market corresponds to a different strikeout threshold, allowing participants to speculate on the performance of individual pitchers.
The official rules for these markets dictate that a market resolves to 'Yes' only if the specified pitcher, acting as a starting pitcher, records the exact number of strikeouts or more as outlined in the respective market during the game scheduled for July 24, 2026. If the pitcher is scratched or does not start, the market resolves to the fair market price. Relief appearances do not count toward strikeouts for settlement purposes. If the pitcher starts and throws at least one pitch, the settlement is based solely on the strikeouts recorded while starting. The markets are independent of each other, each corresponding to a different strikeout threshold (e.g., 3+, 4+, up to 10+ for one pitcher, and 2+ to 7+ for the other), and all share the same participant criteria and settlement structure. Kalshi explicitly states it is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
