Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money stakes and continuous price discovery rather than static pre-game estimates. When expert forecasts and market odds differ significantly, it can signal either undervalued or overvalued outcomes—a key insight for bettors seeking edge.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective confidence in that outcome, ranging from near-zero to near-one dollar. As new information emerges or trading volume shifts, prices adjust in real time, ensuring the market continuously reprices the likelihood of the first seven innings playing out as predicted.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the first seven innings of the Cincinnati-Milwaukee game have concluded and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final score or result recorded at the end of the seventh inning, independent of how the full game concludes.
