These markets track whether a specific player will drive in runs during a scheduled baseball game between two teams on a given date. The outcomes depend on the player's performance in the game, with specific thresholds for success. The markets account for various scenarios where the player might not participate as expected.

Kalshi

The official rules for these markets govern the resolution based on Elly De La Cruz’s participation and performance in the specified baseball game. If De La Cruz is scratched or not in the starting lineup, all markets resolve to the fair market price. If he starts but records no plate appearances, markets also resolve to the fair market price. Should De La Cruz enter the game as a substitute without starting, the markets resolve to the fair market price, and pinch-hit at-bats are excluded from consideration. Only when De La Cruz is in the starting lineup and records at least one plate appearance do the markets settle based on the number of RBIs he achieves during the game. The exact resolution—Yes or No—depends on whether his RBI total meets the threshold specified in each market (1+ or 2+ RBIs). Kalshi clarifies that it holds no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
