Prediction market odds on Polymarket often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they represent a probabilistic view shaped by trader sentiment rather than set by oddsmakers. In this market, the trader-assigned probability may appear more or less favorable than sportsbook odds depending on recent performance, injuries, and other factors. These differences can create opportunities for arbitrage or insight into crowd-sourced expectations for the doubles match outcome.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders set the odds through their bets, which determine the current implied probability for each team. The top outcome’s chance reflects the collective view of all participants, adjusted for liquidity and recent trading volume. As the event approaches, any shifts in sentiment—driven by performance, injuries, or other factors—will be rapidly priced into the market, updating the chances for both sides continuously.
